The modern application systems help one to stay organised at work. The workflows are configured according to the processes in a function and the alert systems will prompt what should be done next. This is the peculiar characteristics of the modern business application systems. For example if a sales enquiry is received, the next action to be performed is assigning the enquiry to respective sales person. Then he has to call or visit the lead to get the details of the services required.
Communication plays a major role to become systematic and organised. Sending mail by a click of a button will ensure that timely communication happens within the eco system. The modern tools comes with built-in mail clients, hence the timely communication becomes easier, as well it is traceable. One need not spend time in searching a mail box to find the mail send to a particular customer, instead from the application choose the customer, then all mail sent / received will be viewed directly from the application.
Most of the time people spend time in searching invoice copies or quote copies or other documents. The built in attachment helps to keep the documents attached to the relevant context. For example, if a product to be delivered, the delivery person need to check the order confirmation received from the customer. He can straight away pick the order confirmation from the attachment area without searching mails / folders.
